Senior Home Pet Care and Monitoring - 20-$30/hr
hourly based on level of care needed
There may one day come a time when we no longer feel comfortable leaving our senior pet alone at home. If you find yourself struggling to leave the home out of worry for your pet it might mean that you could use an extra hand. Whether they are having a hard time getting around, or have been diagnosed with an illness that requires them to be monitored at all times, you should be able to find comfort in knowing they are safe should you need to leave the home for any reason. I will come to your home and carefully monitor them when you are away.

Maintenance Care

Nail Trim - $25
There are many reasons we want to keep our pet's nails trimmed regularly. If we allow our pet's nails to grow too long the quick (or fleshy part of the nail) also grows with it. This makes it more difficult to keep the length of the nail short for both their comfort and ours. If the nail becomes too long this can cause discomfort and even injury from the nail getting caught or curling into the paw pad. Nail trims should ideally be done every 2 - 4 weeks.

Ear Cleaning - $20
Ear cleanings may be performed regularly for standard hygiene practices or as recommended by your Veterinarian to prevent ear infections. The length between ear cleanings is dependent on your pet's lifestyle, however once per month is acceptable for standard maintenance.

Internal Anal Gland Expression - $30
Anal Gland Expression must be performed internally to ensure complete emptying of the glands. The frequency of expression is dependent on the individual pet's needs.

Sanitary Shave - $20
Some pets with longer hair require routine shaving of their nether regions. This helps maintain a sanitary area for your pet's bathroom habits.

Paw Shave - $20
Paw shaving can help with traction, especially on hardwood or tile floors. Senior pets with decreased mobility can greatly benefit from the removal of hair around the paws to give them a little extra grab when trying to get around.

Bathing - $40-$55
For those who just want to freshen up their pet and don't have the time or means to do so. I will brush, bathe, and trim your pets nails for a full package deal.
